A Piece of Burgundy is a local company run by professionals, all of whom live within Burgundy.  The company was formed to offer quality After Sales services to people buying houses in Burgundy, such as Design and Project Management, Translations and Yearly Assistance packages.  You can see all of these services here.

We are a fully registered French Business at the Prefecture of Dijon under the Siret number of 498 835 982 00014.  We offer quality services giving the assistance and confidence you need when, buying a house in Burgundy.

After several successful years, we were asked to team up with an excellent immobilier from north Cote D'Or, to offer you the best selection of houses, fermettes and chataux, alongside our After Sales Services.  All the houses we offer have been selected from their portfolio, have all got a Mandat de Vente and and all in sound structural condition, even the biggest of renovation properties.

Our agents have over 45 years of experience in French Property Sales, they are all qualified Immobiliers and have a deep knowledge of the legal system of buying and selling in France.  Theye undertake all the legal work, draw up all the Compromis de Vente's and, more importantly, they values all the properties.  We do not value them and do not inflate the prices for the Britsh or other foriegns markets.

The reason for offering both services to you is to allow everyone the opportunity to experience what Burgundy has to offer.  We know just how difficult it is to find the right property in France and we also know just how difficult it is to manage it after all the purchase excitement has gone.  We wish to offer you all the help and assistance before during and after you buy your piece of Burgundy.

The reason we all moved here, however, will continue to remind us that the impersonal, cut-throat approach of British business must never replace the friendly, personal approach we take to all our clients, who, after all are looking to move away from the frantic life in Britain.  We are here to help you settle in and enjoy the French lifestyle, not bring the British business to your French doorstep.

As we found little or no help to solve our problems on arrival here, we have learned the hard way (and the sometimes incomprehensible way), found the good organisations and flushed out the unhelpful ones. Now we have compared notes and can offer you the best information and assistance.
